Focusflip is built to protect your attention — not to harvest your data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Focusflip app and this website process. The short version: none.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Focusflip iOS application (the "App") and this website at flip-lock.app (the "Website"), together the "Service".

3. Our data principle

Focusflip is built around one rule: we don't collect what we don't need — and we don't need almost anything. Neither the App nor the Website store, transmit, or track any personal data. There is no user account, no backend server that receives your data, no analytics, and no advertising.

4. The App: what stays on your device

Motion and orientation data from Apple's CoreMotion, used to detect when your phone is placed face-down. This is processed entirely on-device, in real time, and is never transmitted off your device or stored by us.
App and website selections you choose to block. These are handled through Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework and stored locally in your device's secure settings. We never receive the list of apps you use or block.
No account. Focusflip requires no email address, login, or profile to use.
No analytics or crash reporting. The App does not integrate any analytics or crash-reporting SDK. No usage data leaves your device.

5. This website

flip-lock.app is a static marketing site. It uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking scripts of any kind — you're welcome to verify this yourself in your browser's network tab.

The site is served via Cloudflare's global network. As with any website, Cloudflare's servers technically process standard connection data (such as your IP address) purely to deliver the page to your browser. We do not receive, store, or analyze this data ourselves.

6. App Store subscriptions

Focusflip Pro is billed through Apple via the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple may share limited, aggregated subscription status (such as whether a subscription is active) so the App can unlock Pro features. Apple's own privacy policy governs its handling of your purchase.

7. Children

Focusflip is not directed at children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data from anyone, this applies equally regardless of age.

8. Your rights

Because we don't process personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. If you believe otherwise, or have any data-protection question, contact us at focusflip@stabe-software.com, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App or Website evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
